After growing up in New York and earning a B.S. in Neuropsychology, Patrick pursued a career in law enforcement which led him to move to the Atlanta, Ga area where he was sworn in with a large metro Atlanta police department. During his tenure with this agency, Patrick served in Road patrol as well as working with Narcotics teams and street crimes units to help combat violent crimes. This included numerous under-cover operations often requiring tactical planning and responses.
After several years, Patrick and his family moved to Central Florida where he continued his law enforcement career by joining an Orlando area police department. During his tenure here, Patrick worked diligently to contribute to the agency and community. Patrick was afforded opportunities to serve by being assigned to the following; Road Patrol, Field Training Officer, Crime Suppression Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, Polygraph unit, SWAT team. Patrick became the first ever polygraph examiner for his police department after receiving extensive months- long training with both domestic and foreign law enforcement and military personnel. Patrick was eventually promoted to Corporal within the Criminal Investigations Division while also managing the polygraph unit. Patrick has received training and certifications in various aspects of law enforcement and incident response ranging from Psychophysiological detection of deception to Active threat response, homicide investigation and interview and interrogation. This training and experience has provided Patrick with tools to be extremely effective in assessing situations, establishing and executing plans of action while also being able to provide valuable and concise communication.
